Eisenmenger Syndrome, defined as pulmonary hypertension and cyanosis in individuals with anysystemic-to-pulmonary communication, is rarely encountered in adult patients due to earlyidentification and correction of congenital abnormalities. Uncorrected shunts typically progress toEisenmenger physiology before puberty.Patients presenting later may be asymptomatic prior to flow reversal. In the era of perinatal screening, itis rare to encounter an adult patient with an uncorrected defect.
