Evidence-based practice EBP is described as incorporating scientific evidence, clinical expertise and the patients values and preferences into the provision of quality healthcare. Despite growing support, organizational adoption of EBP in clinical settings is inconsistent and not well described. The purpose of the 59 MDW EBP program implementation project is to determine the organizations cultural readiness for enterprise-wide implementation of EBP by identifying EBP beliefs and behaviors of the nursing staff.
