US Army Center for Environmental Health Research USACEHR has expressed a need for support for the physiologically based pharmacokinetic PBPK modeling efforts. Specifically, information has been requested regarding the availability of acute andor subacute toxicokinetic data and PBPK models for arsenic, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, lead, nickel, allyl alcohol, bromobenzene, and carbon tetrachloride, in the rat. As the interest in these models pertains to data development in the rat and extrapolation to humans, BPK models for humans were also of interest. Short-term toxicokinetic data in the rat were identified for all compounds of interest. Toxicokineticbiokinetic models for at least one species rat or human exist for all compounds of interest except nickel and bromobenzene.
