Abstract:

Soldiers returning from the 1991 Persian Gulf War suffered from a variety of cognitive, motor, sensory and autonomic symptoms. Warfighters that applied highly concentrated DEET creams were more likely to exhibit more sensory and autonomic symptoms Haley and Kurt, 1997.
