Abstract:

The aims of this two-phase research program were to analyze, model and realize a multiband radio frequencyinterconnect technology MRFI to enable high scalability and re-configurability for inter-CPUMemorycommunications with an increased number of communication channels in the frequency-domain and reduced number ofphysical padswires to accomplish higher effective bandwidth, superior energy efficiency in terms of energybit anddecreased sizearea of both silicon on-chip and PCB off-chip for future mobile and airborne computing systems.
