The project was focused on developing a Semi-Autonomous System that could be utilized for the remediation of large scale range clearing projects. The major goals associated with the development of this system were to increase the speed of range clearing operations improve personnel safety by removing workers from dangerous areas and, decrease cost to the government by decreasing personnel costs and days to completion.
