Abstract:

The Air National Guard ANG, as a component of the National Guard NG, contains inherent capabilities that can enhance Defense Support to Civil Authorities DSCA operations during a disaster response for the Department of Defense. Protection of the United States from terrorism, violent extremism and natural disasters requires synchronization of many local, state and federal government assets and capabilities.
