Abstract:

It has been widely recognized that there is room for improvement in the Department of Defenses program management, program control, and acquisition design review processes. DoD can improve the success of its acquisition workforce by providing acquisition professionals with a better framework from which to work, by instilling passion and understanding in them from an early point in their careers, and by putting the focus on content based program management execution.
