The change from Standard Reference Material SRM 2806a to SRM 2806b has produced a noticeable shift in particle size distribution of the reference materials used to calibrate ISO 11171 particle counters. There are three viable options to address the particle counter limits published in MIL-DTL-83133J when utilizing instruments calirbated with SRM 2806b rather than SRM 2806a.
