Abstract:
This report describes the work carried out under contract to the Defence Research Establishment Atlantic DREA. Contract Serial No. OAE.86-0042, DSS File No.W7707-6-77390l-OAE. This report is supported by two other documents produced under this contract References 1 and 2. The purpose of this work was to produce, through research and development, a capability for simplified analysis of ship structures. Simplified techniques for generating input data for finite element analysis have been developed. The work performed is described in Sections 2 to 12.
