Abstract:

This volume contains 25 of the 73 papers presented at the Third Conference on High Power Infrared Laser Window Materials held on 12, 13, and 14 November 1973 in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The papers in this volume are devoted to the results of experimental investigations of the characteristics of the surfaces of specimens of various potential window materials with and without various thin surface films, and of the damage or distortion experienced by such specimens on exposure to laser radiation.
