Abstract:

The collision of the SS Arizona Standard and the SS Oregon Standard in San Francisco Bay on 18 January 1971 is structurally analyzed using Minorskys Method. The collision angle in this case was 35 deg whereas Minorskys original development considered angles closer to 90 deg. Author
