The results of the short-pulse measurements task conducted during the Radar Signature Investigation RADSIN are presented herein. Twenty-one target configurations were defined in order to provide the necessary signature data for successfully conducting the technical portion of the investigation. Cross-section and phase polarizations were utilized in the case of the asymmetrical configurations. The models which were measured during the RADSIN program have been partitioned into four categories to facilitate the presentation of their measured signatures. This volume, which represents Volume 2 of two volumes comprising the Technical Report on the Radar Signature Investigation, has been devoted primarily to the display of measured data and the discussion of significant characteristics of the short-pulse signatures. Several of the targets discussed herein are scale models of typical aerospace vehicles, and others are fundamental to furthering the understanding of scattering center phenomenology. As a result, this document may possibly provide one of the most comprehensive sets of high-resolution signature data available anywhere in the industry. The analyses of the data presented herein has indicated a very definite potential for utilizing high-resolution signatures to classify radar targets. Author
