The report deals with the LANCE Engine Test Stand capability to measure the side force developed by thrust vector control value action. The basic calibration was supplemented and validated by a group of dynamic calibrations involving the application of deadweight step functions during booster phase of the engine system tests. A limited sample of such tests performed at ambient temperature conditions along with two hot temperature and one cold temperature conditioned tests is examined. Author
