Abstract:

A real-world weapon system test situation is used to show how Circular Error Probability CEP point estimates may be obtained. The discussion includes the use of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality, chi-square confidence intervals, non-parametric confidence intervals, a priori sample size determination, stop or continue decision making during testing, and a method for combining classical and Bayesian techniques for estimating CEP.
