Abstract:
Active immunization against swine plague may also be obtained with the aid of lapinized virus administered otherwise than by inoculation. Immunity conferred by the lapinized virus administered by respiratory route in the form of aerosols is comparable with that obtained by inoculation. Administration of the lapinized virus in the form of aerosols in an aqueous suspension yields better results than the method in which the virus-vaccine is contained in calcium carbonate powder.
