Abstract:
This is another approach to the quantum mechanical treatment of finite temperature many particle systems. The two particle Slater sum has been established from its resolvent representation using the perturbation calculation of an e super 2 expansion. Subsequently, the calculation of a quantum mechanical binary distribution function for the case of a quantum mechanical potential reduces for a Coulomb interaction system to the well known mathematical formalism of classical mechanics. The formulas of Meeron and Schmitz yielded the quantum correlation function, and the correlation energy as well as the free energy were determined up to order e super 4. Effects of symmetry were also taken into account. Author
