Abstract:
The report summarizes the results of a low - and zero-gravity propellant orientation and ullage venting program conducted by the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Laboratory. The primary purpose of the test program was to determine the functional capabilities of a representative liquid propellant surface-tension orientation system and a surface-tension vapor venting system. This device utilized screens and capillary traps to accomplish the orientation and venting functions. Author
