Abstract:

The report describes improvements made to the MALLARD requirements generic data base, the development of a file organization for an expanded information file, and computational programs developed to provide a basis for the input to the simulation model. Statistical summaries and profiles are included as a part of the demand analysis. The following deployment configurations are considered in the report A Two Corps Field Army, an Independent Corps, and a Marine Expeditionary Force. In addition, the statistical summaries and profiles include an Infantry Division, a Marine Corps Division, and selected elements of an Independent Corps. The annexes to this report, of which there are four, are a series of computer products which provide updated Generic Data Base requirements data, Specific Unit Needline data, and Nodal Affiliation and Nodal Needlines data.
