Abstract:

A venturi was developed to prevent flow sharing of the secondary oxygen system with the primary oxygen system during cabin repressurization. The resultant venturi is utilized in the oxygen system during crewman transfer with the crew transfer umbilical. This test measured the flow characteristics of the series connected combination of the venturi, the cabin repressurization valve and the CTUM 25 foot and 43 foot configurations with various specified pressures at the inlet to the venturi.
