Abstract:
This reporting is a presentation of information and data obtained from a study effort to determine the effects a helium atmosphere may have upon various electronic components. The information and data have been drawn from such sources as industry, technical literature, classical theory, and laboratory in-house tests. The basic major result of this study is the conclusion that helium will not present any major problems to the normal engineering activities and disciplines for the Manned Orbiting Laboratory MOL or similar manned spacecraft programs.
