Abstract:

The non-directional bullet detector is adaptable to the AH-1G. The system is capable of detecting near-miss projectiles. Without the system, crewmembers are not capable of detecting near-miss projectiles. Maintainability and reliability could not be fully determined because of the short time frame of the test.
