Abstract:

Based on 1,438 1000-1700 MST and 1,869 2200-0500 MST upper air soundings taken at White Sands Desert Site, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico during the period from 1961 through 1967, day-night seasonal vertical profiles of maximum, mean, and minimum wind, temperature, pressure, density, moisture, and index of refraction from 6,000 to 100,000 feet MSL are presented.
