The objectives of the contract are to advance new theory and techniques of microwave acoustic, magnetoelastic and bulk semiconductor devices for application to radar, communications, and instrumentation systems. This investigation presently includes the following projects Thin film transducers Acoustic parametric amplification Adiabatic magnetoelastic conversion in the time domain Guided acoustic waves Magnetically dependent sound wave interactions.
