The concept of spatially incoherent SI radiation has been applied to extended sources. The fields of SI-radiating circular disks and rectangles have been calculated for uniform radiation and for a square law decrease of power radiated per unit area toward source edges. The shaded disk has a field much like that of a uniform disk of diameter 20 less. All fields show regions with zero deviation from the inverse square law field of a point source radiating from the center. Programs in BASIC are provided for detailed calculations of the actual deviations at any field point. Author
