Abstract:
The tensile, compressive, shear and bearing properties of 18 samples of 2014, 6061, 7075, 7079 and 7178 aluminum alloy extrusions in the TX51X tempers have been determined. Ratios among these properties have been computed. Results of fatigue and stress-corrosion tests made to date are summarized.
