Abstract:

The results of a study of solar X-ray and HF communications data intended for support of the SOLRAD satellite as a communications disturbance warning sensor are presented. Limitations of the conclusion that can be drawn from the study are discussed recommendations are given for future investigations of the effects of solar X-rays on HF communications. Author
