A further improvement of a method for deriving the profile Nz and including its F1-layer is described. Physical bases for the method used include the profile continuity, absence of a shift in Vz, and diffusion processes in the boundary regions. Application of this method is described in which the test data show a valley between the E-layer and F-region where the electron-density force comprises 83 of the NmE maximum.
