The control of output voltage of an experimental hydrazine-oxygen fuel cell is investigated. A mixture of nitrogen and oxygen is introduced into the cathode cavity, and the percentage of oxygen is varied to control the output voltage. After dynamic testing, a typical response is defined, and a feedback control system designed to improve transient response.
