Errors are discussed which occur in the case of analog aerial triangulation. It is shown that a significant improvement in accuracy can be obtained by means of similitude-transformation. The homogenization of the stereo-photogrammetrical measurements are expressed by formulas this is in conjunction with the transformation of the geodetic coordinates in the system of machine coordinates. A comparison is drawn between the registered coordinates and the calculated theoretical machine coordinates. Furthermore, the results obtained are compared with the results of the affine and Hellmert transformations, and proof is given that in transformation with homogenization of the machine coordinates a twofold improvement in accuracy is made possible. In addition it is also seen that an improvement in the machine coordinates by calculating polynoms of third and higher degrees does not lead to a higher degree of accuracy.
