Abstract:

The zero-g program is being conducted to support the Centaur design and development program. The zero-g program includes investigation into four basic areas 1 Liquid behavior phenomena, including distribution of cryogenic liquids in the tanks, degree of dispersion and settling rates 2 Heat transfer, including boiling phenomena and effects of surface configuration 3 Evaluation at zero and one g of Centaur components and 4 Evaluation of the Centaur instrumentation under zero-g conditions.
