Abstract:
Simulated altitude testing of the Apollo SPS Block II engine was conducted for the qualification of a new design bipropellant valve Mod I-C. Also, tests were conducted to investigate postfire propellant evaporative cooling in the engine injector and to evaluate electric strip heaters on the engine propellant lines, bipropellant valve, and injector.
