Abstract:

The purpose of this investigation was to conduct a research and development program on full pressure suit mobility to evolve new techniques and designs to be used in fabrication of full pressure suits using the cord restrained principle. Three working laboratory models were furnished with mobility joints that incorporated cord, ring and stretch material combinations. A ventilation liner, furnished with the garmet provided sufficient air flow to maintain an atmosphere adequate for the physiological well-being of the wearer. Author
