CHANGES IN CHLORIDE METABOLISM IN ACUTE FEBRILE DISEASES
ARMY BIOLOGICAL LABS FREDERICK MD
Pagination or Media Count:
NaCl metabolism in acute febrile diseases is considerably different from that which obtains under normal conditions. Resorption of NaCl did not differ from physiological conditions during attacks of pneumonia, typhus or malaria the feces always contained little NaCl. But none of the patients participating in the investigation suffered from nethritis or edema.
