Abstract:

A description is given of the FORTRAN language items common to and available for the CDC 6000 Series Computer Systems, the IBM Operating System360, and the UNIVAC 11071108 Systems. Because the users of these computer systems must occasionally write a program at one installation to be used at another having a different hardware configuration, information is supplied regarding the parts of the language that can be used in such situations without major revisions having to be made in the programs.
