Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to give information about the efficiency and other properties of membrane filters manufactured in Czechoslovakia at the Synthesia enterprise UFS filters. In hygienic practice there are also quite a number of examples where we have to capture samples of finely-dispersed aerosols for example metal oxides, aerosols in chemical industry, at work places dealing with open radioactive substances, etc.. In such cases we have to select MF with a suitable size of the pores and use a suitable feed of the flow of the gas through the filter. Author
