Abstract:

Pimental Gomes and Malavolta 1949 indicated a procedure for graduating experimental data by Mitscherlichs equation according to the method of least squares, which is equivalent, in the case of interest here, to the method of maximum likelihood. Unhappily, however, the procedure was quite laborious. This report presents a series of six tables of functions which permit rapid and precise graduation.
