Abstract:
Influenza virus, when injected simultaneously with Staphylococcus pyrogenes, slightly increases the receptivity of guinea pigs to the micrococcus. Intratracheal or intravenous inoculation of influenzal virus increases at least 20 times the receptivity to the infection of rabbits inoculated intravenously with suspensions of staphylocci.
