DETERMINATION OF AMOUNT OF GASES (OXYGEN, NITROGEN, AND CARBON DIOXIDE) IN GUINEA PIGS EXPERIMENTALLY INFECTED WITH ANTHRAX,
ARMY BIOLOGICAL LABS FREDERICK MD
Pagination or Media Count:
In experimental anthracic infection, in the early part of the illness and increase of the blood CO2 occurs in guinea pigs, followed later by a pronounced decrease until the time of death. The O2 content undergoes pronounced changes, not connected with the CO2 colume, nor apparently following fixed rules. The N2 content underwent no appreciable variations.
