Abstract:

It is possible to counteract the infectious activity of virus present in the air Myxovirus multiformis, even in high concentrations about 10 to the eighth power per cubic meter by means of ozone at concentrations on the border of 0.00001 in volume. Sterilization is obtained in less than five minutes if the concentration is greater than 2.00001. These results hold good only for a tank made of stainless steel, without any material that might fix or destroy the ozone, with a hygrometric level close to 80 per one hundred, at a temperature of about 22C.
