Abstract:

Correlation between the effect of K sub a- and X-band power upon the devices was established. Experimental lots of semiconductor material were evaluated by measurements on diodes fabricated from each. The results indicate a considerable variation from lot to lot as regards ability to withstand the 24 hour power aging test and also the final conversion loss characteristics. A significant proportion of the devices have characteristics falling within the objective specification. Author
