Abstract:
The test was conducted at Grand Prairie Municipal Airport near Fort Worth, Texas, from 4 August 1967 to 12 August 1967 by the US Army Aviation Test Activity USAAVNTA. Paced in-ground-effect IGE flight, hovering in winds, approaches to a spot, and arrestment of turn rates at various wind azimuths were investigated.
