Abstract:

The phase equilibrium portion of the system Eu-Ti-O has been completed and is appended as a technical report. The structure of the Beta-CdCrO4 and Beta-MgCrO4 phases have been determined and revised X-ray diffraction data are included. The research on transition borate compounds has led to the discovery of a calcite structure FeBO3 which is magnetic at room temperature Tc 100C. Author
