The surface, grain boundary, and twin boundary energies of cobalt were determined from tests at 1354C in pure hydrogen, the values being 1970, 650 and 12.7 ergssq. cm, respectively. A value of 0.0000275 sq. cmsec was found for the surface diffusion coefficient under the same conditions. Author
