Abstract:

Contains a description of the Interim Model for LPTV system trade-offs. The model was devised, programmed, and applied to 30 vehicle-base combinations during the period 1 April to 29 April 1965. The Interim Model was created to allow experimentation with the best form for the final LPTV trade-off model. But, it has also been used successfully to assist in ranking vehicle-base combinations. In addition to describing the model, the present report defines the inputs used for the 30 vehicle-base combinations which were run through the model and lists the cost-effectiveness data which resulted and tentative conclusions.
