The subject of this thesis is the amplitude frequency response transfer gain curve of flowing pneumatic lines of the type used in flueric systems. Line lengths up to 20 feet were studied at mean pressures from 10 to 40 psig. The sinusoidal driving signal frequency was varied from 1 to 1000 Hz, and signal size varied from 0.15 to 15 percent of mean line pressure. Test results were compared to proposed mathematical models. The models predicted resonant gain amplitude within 6 db and resonant frequency within 20 percent over the frequency range of 100 to 1000 Hz.
