This effort consisted of investigating several types of computer program possibilities for improving the basic operation of the automated analytical stereoplotter AS-11B. In general, these included consideration for increasing the computer capacity and providing a means of recording photogrammetric constants and correlation data during automatic operation. A major part of this investigation was devoted to improvement of the automatic operation of the analytical stereoplotter by developing new programs for, parallax gain adjustment and compensation, scan pattern size and shaping, adjustment of plotting velocity and development of a searching procedure. A significant portion of this study was devoted to the investigation of a new andor different computer for the basic analytical stereoplotter. Author
