Several alternative primary flight controller designs were developed with the objectives of providing improved panel visibility and increased comfort compatible with good handling qualities. The designs were rated by a panel of 12 pilot-evaluators. The results indicate that all of the designs are acceptable. Three designs -- the Dual Side-Arm, the Yoke with a Vernier Handle, and the Circumferential Drive with a Vernier Handle, met with sufficiently high acceptance that their further development and evaluation is warranted.
