Abstract:

A mathematically rigorous solution has been developed for the complete evaluation of both the geoid undulation and the deflection of the vertical components for the center area. A computer program employing these solutions shows how the computations are both accurate and economic. Comparisons of the programs results were made with four deflections of the vertical computations which were computed by manual method in 1951 by Rice. Author
