Abstract:

This effort resulted in the determination of the processes required for the coding, filing and indexing capabilities consistent with the MIRACODE STORAGE-RETRIEVAL SYSTEM. These processes would then be used to create a technical data base which would lend itself to the storage, retrieval and reproduction of materials relating to the field of Reconnaissance Technology. A major area of investigation dealt with the type of descriptors which should be used to describe abstracts within incoming Technical Abstract Bulletins, the contents of Intelligence Reports and Technical Equipment Volumes. This system was implemented to serve the needs of RADCs Reconnaissance Intelligence Data Handling Branch. Author
